There are many ways you can help EdUCate!

Dollar A Day/General Fund
These funds are distributed by the Allocations Committee recommendations to the EdUCate! Board of Directors. Teachers and staff at the five schools write proposals each year for supplies, equipment, and other needs. The requests are carefully reviewed and prioritized for funding and then funds are given to the appropriate principal at the Allocations Ceremony.

Directed Donations
Whether given online or by check, these directed donations should be limited to donations specifically requested by teachers or departments (teachers may post "wish lists" or teachers or departments may announce special projects or needs during open houses or other events). Donations earmarked for specific teachers or classrooms which have not been specifically requested by that teacher will revert to the Administration at that school site with notification to the teacher if possible.
 

Honor a Teacher
Parents and friends may choose to honor any teacher or staff member at any of the schools. This is a year-round program. The honored educator receives a certificate and gift, the principals are notified, and the donation goes in to the general fund.

Teacher Wish List
For less expensive classroom needs, teachers may post a list of desired items and their cost. Parents and friends may then choose individual items to fund. Checks are written to EdUCate and the designated funds are distributed to the teacher's school.

Memorial Funds
Several long-time friends of the University City Schools have created memorial funds to honor specific individuals.
